Carney Hospital has partnered with Total- Care, LLC, a Roxbury-based company to provide eligible patients access to home care services.

TotalCare and Carney Hospital announced the newly formed partnership to provide services consisting of group adult foster care and adult foster care to eligible patients.

TotalCare Home Care Provider on Dudley Street honored Muriel Walker as she celebrated her 100th birthday on Thursday, Feb. 16. The celebration was held at the MLK Towers in Roxbury. Born in Cambridge in 1917, she has resided in Boston for over 90 years.

Most people don’t live to 100, but Muriel Walker marked that milestone yesterday, with no regrets. “I felt great today,” Walker said after a celebration attended by family, friends and officials at MLK Towers in Roxbury. “I’ve had a good life. I can’t complain.”
